If it wouldn't for my parents trip, I don't think that I would be at the Abacus Belait Travel Fair last Sunday and if we weren't there, Azim wouldn't ever experience winning a Lucky Draw in his 17 years life!! He was reluctant to fill up the form at first, I was so annoyed and 'forced' him to fill it up, mana tau nasib and yes, it was indeed his lucky day! Even though, he didn't managed to get the Ipod Nano and Ipod Shuffle but at least he settled with a complimentary lunch for Kenali Makanan Kitani Promotion at the Airport Restaurant....at least something rite rather than nothing, like me and Hadi!!! hahaha

Lunch with the besties

Despite being on a strict diet for the past few days, lunch invitation is simply irresistable, moreover if it's from your best buddy. It was an Indian food lunch at Deana Restaurant, Jaya Bakti Square. Not bad, sedaaaap especially the capati look-alike with Prawn Masala, mashallah!!

Prawn Masala and the cauliflower fritters....nice!! Two thumbs up!!

These beautiful ladies including me (wahahaha,nda mau rugi!) were schoolmates and best buddies since our secondary years. Our friendships remain strong until now walaupun masing-masing sudah lari alignments after having 2, 3 and 6 children!!!!

Together with my colleagues, Marni and Sufitra, I am AGAIN given a task to be in this so-called creative team to create our company's very owned Safety Video. I was nevertheless a bit reluctant (tapi dalam hati saja!) but with heavy heart accepted this challenge (no choice ma!) but who knows naik gaji after this...heeeeeee! But frankly speaking, having experience working on the company's Corporate Video, this is not going to be an easy-peasy task!! Full commitment, support from colleagues and people around me are very very important.

Anyhoo, enough of that, so to merealisasi kan this project, we decided (i mean Sufitra,ehem sorry!) to make an audition (staff only) in order to do everything on our own without having to source it out, kira save budget lah. So, armed with a handycam (orang punya!), tripod, A4 paper script board (hahaha!), we conducted audition to about 10 staff in order to search for the ONE....

I know....yeah i know.....been neglecting this blog again for more than a month now and frankly, i wasn't that keen to update it not until i got a reply to my email which was sent months ago!!! Pikir inda dapat, rupanya dapat jua...alhamdulillah.

So here I am again, back kicking and ready to update my humble yet dusty blog...nyeh nyeh!! To start off, here are some pictures taken from our recent family holidays to Johor, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur 13 to 19 Jan 2011. It's one of the best vacations that we ever had as revisiting Singapore after many many years (since my college years!) is indeed the best experience. My kids being first timers to Singapore themselves were so amazed and fell in love with Singapore compare to that other country (zipped!!)....

Azim joined the Science Leadership camp held at OGDC from Friday, 10 Dec to Sunday, 12 Dec 2010. I was reluctant to let him go at first but after much begging, I finally said YES!! Bukan apa, i am just so worried letting him be on his own, he is still a baby to me :(( but then, glad that his cousin, Sophie was also joining the camp, at least I feel a little much better...inda uri...hehehe

Held inhouse by a trainer from Bureau Veritas Kuala Lumpur from 6 to 10 December 2010 but I only joined in on second day as I was having a hell-of-a-good-time on the sixth at Rizqun. Speaking about the training, it was indeed very interesting and useful for our next planned certification due sometime next year. Hopefully ALL...yes ALL of us will comply to the standards and jangan kasi malu okay!!

Last weekend we decided to check in into the prestigious Rizqun International Hotel in the busy area of Gadong. We had the best suite and thank you to you-know-who-you-are. The kids really had fun as the hotel is adjacent to the popular Mall...apa lagi, macam2 activities depa buat, movies, cyber cafe, arcade games....you name it!! Puas hatiii but poor me had to stay in the room, revising for my two-day final exams.....

Had my endoscopy done last Thursday at KB Hospital. It wasn't that 'painful' but the uncomfortable feeling especially when the doctor was trying to push the hose down your throat...ohhh my!!! i just can't explain what i have been through, no pain but it's the puking feeling and seriously I feel like i'm going to die...short of breath...oh nooo!!! To the kind doctor, sorry to tell you that will be my last endoscopy...no more!! taaaa....

Another lunch outing today with my colleagues. This time it's the much talked about restaurant in FB, AIKO Sushi in Kiulap. At a price of $8.80 (Adult) with sushi and $6.00 (Adult) without sushi is considered very reasonable. Everyone was so excited.......but, yeah there is a BUT....the sushi spread was not that attractive!! I was recommended by a friend to try the Ambuyat Buffet at Full Houze Restaurant in Qlap and seriously, it's no regret...the buffet was superb and delicious but the Cacah (sauce) was a little bit too sour even though I got it mixed here and there. Nevertheless, loving the utensils used for this spread, not that typical food warmer....yeah you got it right, periukssss uols!!!

Her sudden departure on 9 August 2010 was a great shock to everyone including me. Our prayers are with you nini, may you rest in peace dan di tempatkan disamping orang-orang yang beriman...amiiin! Hi there!! Sorry for the long silence! I have to blame this to my new addiction.....the FB!! Anyhoo, am gonna share with you my long overdue pichas taken everywhere...here and there for your pleasant viewing!

Oh ya, these Sungkai outings pichas are dedicated to my bro who is currently offshore....**drool**!

The above were taken at Mega Hotel, Miri yesterday. Sungkai buffet was superb and worth the kaching! Adult RM43.70 and child at RM20.70.

These were at Misato Japanese Restaurant. Food pun yummy, nda kami menyasal, liat saja piring kami yang panuh atu. Sorry gambar orangnya nada coz busy makan..hehehe. Buffet at Adult B$14.90 and Child B$8.90

Above pichas taken at the restaurant which is next to Eng Hong Supermarket, KB. I don't quite remember the name but if you wanna try, it's just infront of the main road of Jalan Maulana. Buffet at Adult B$7.50 and Child B$5.50. Hadi really enjoyed the Ayam Masak Merah but overall the food was excellente!! Wanna go again there soon, baik jua time nada amah ani, ada jua alasan kan sungkai luar saja...hehehe

Kuching Trip 28-31 March 2009

Went for a short and well-deserved break to The Cat City last weekend with the kids and my parents.

My last trip to Kuching was when I was about 12 years old and I can see many changes in Kuching and I fell in love with the city just immediately. The food, the shopping...I heart soooo much especially Serikin. Can't wait to set foot to Kuching again soon. I think I would prefer Kuching than Miri, less traffic jams, less sibuk here and there and senang dapat parking kereta some more!

Decided to bring the kids for a break across the border today. Had a wonderful time eat-eat and play-play at the arcade games centre.

Masa kami kan turun atu hujan labat, jalan habis banjir sampai my car licence plate pun tanggal, tepaksa tah buat baru tapi ani kadai pun tutup, taukeh2 semua balik kampung tutup kadai, hmmm cana kan gtau pulis ni ah...hehehe

Balik around 7:30pm to catch up with Zara before ia balik ke BSB lagipun kan membagi Secret Recipe to my bro and wife, baik jua sampat mun inda kesian sia2pun tia. Speaking of Secret Recipe, yummmzzz nda cukup rasa nya satu Chix Puff mau sampai dua tiga buting tapi ganya takut kana ucap tebarus...hehehe. The cakes are so excellente, sayang rasanya kan makan...atu labih!

Bah enjoy tah pichas masa di games arcade ani saja, ngalihku kan naip. I need my bweak and my beauty sleep....toodles!!

Baru saja ku balik from Shenzen and Guangzhou yesterday via Hong Kong. Weather was damn cold between 4-17 degrees, abis semua karau n sajuk..hahaha jgn kuning!! Lunch time tadi went to the Consumer Fair at ICC together with Ka Min and Hjh Shidah. The crowd not that bad lah, nda jua ramai sangat, yang sedang-sedang saja :).

Anyway, the best part during the visit is the food testing at the participating booths, suka kami...hehehe tapi donut ani inda ada testing, so bali saja lah :p

So how's everybody's holiday so far? For me, just stayed home and relax memanjakan badan yang ngalih after turun naik keraja selama ani. Tapi telampau relax atu, ada jua boring nya so to kill time, I decided to try making cake and the recipe I chose is Tiramisu, yang sanang saja lah. Oh ya, for info, this is actually my first time making cakes and second attempt of making Tiramisu (that explains the title), my first was few days ago tapi I was too busy concentrating (takut salah,hehehe!) iatah sampai gambar pun inda teambil. Tapi alhamdulillah, both my attempts were successful, bulih buat bisnes lepas ani...hahaha and I tell you the taste not bad lah, liciiin! Nah enjoy the pichas from my second attempt, siapa kan minta buatkan, let me know saja...hehehe. Oh before I lupa, I got the recipe from here, thank you there!

We had a small makan at the Revenue Accounting office recently to celebrate Hjh Shidah's birthday and also to membaca doa tolak bala due to the recent fire near to their office. It was full of fun and food was yummy!! Thanks to those who attended, lain kali kitani makan lagi, inshallah :)

I missed her! Zara baru saja balik from KL with her parents cos abah nya course disana for 10days.
